A special charity concert program to support Ukraine “Save Ukraine - #StopWar” will be broadcast in Korea via TVAsia Plus Channel of the global media group TRA Media on Sunday.

The charity concert was previously broadcasted in more than 20 countries on March 28 via TVP, a Polish state-run television channel.

As the war continues in Ukraine, TRA Media decided to air the concert footage in Korea as requested by the Embassy of Ukraine in Seoul. Famed musicians such as Sting, Imagine Dragons, Fatboy Slim, Within Temptation, Bastille, Submotion Orchestra, Salvador Sobral, Netta and Taraka staged performances to raise funds to oppose the full-scale aggression of Russia against Ukraine and help war-torn Ukrainian lives.

"It is the right thing for TRA Media to help Ukrainians suffering from the war, as our channel has received love from viewers by broadcasting Ukrainian dramas ‘Love in Chains,’ ‘Sniffer’ and ‘There Will Be People,’" Kim Hong-cheol, vice president of TRA Media, said. “We will broadcast ‘Save Ukraine’ for the first time in Korea, and we hope to deliver our message that we stand behind Ukraine.”

The program will also be simultaneously broadcasted on TRA Media’s other affiliated channels Smile TV Plus and Wee TV. It will be available for streaming in local streaming platform Wavve.
