Game publisher Com2uS will incorporate health care services into its metaverse platform Com2Verse through an agreement it signed with local medical products manufacturer Hanmi Healthcare, the company said Wednesday.

Com2Verse, a metaverse subsidiary 70 percent owned by Com2uS, signed the agreement on its metaverse platform to bring Hanmi Healthcare’s medical businesses into the virtual world.

Medical data owned by Hanmi Healthcare will be uploaded on Com2Verse to be shared and discussed among health care professionals, who will get to communicate closer with each other through their virtual avatars.

The two companies will also jointly develop new health care businesses fit for the metaverse service, Com2uS said.

Com2Verse was incorporated last month as the metaverse company of Com2uS and telemedicine start-up Doctor Now was among its first investors.

The company is in talks with various firms wanting to bring their businesses into the metaverse world, including those in finance, education, entertainment, food and beverage, telecommunication and retail, Com2uS said.
