Kakao Games to release Uma Musume Pretty Derby next month
Kakao Games will release a new mobile game titled Uma Musume Pretty Derby on June 20, the company said Monday.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby is a Japanese mobile simulation game developed by Cygames, first launched February last year. Korea is the second country in which the game is being published, after Japan.
Players must choose and train their own uma musume, which means "horse girls" in Japanese, that are personified as human characters. Players train their characters with the goal of winning the horse races, during which they unfold each character’s stories.
Preregistration for the game began Monday on Google Play and the App Store.
This is one of the biggest titles to be published by Kakao Games, according to the Kakao subsidiary.
Other games to be released this year include Dysterra, Ares: Rise of Guardians and Eversoul.
