Hana Financial Group proposed connectivity as the core value of the company through 2030.

It plans to connect finance with lifestyle services via its HANA 1Q mobile app.

Under the theme, “All Connected in Hana Finance,” the financial company will offer special experiences for its customers and make an innovative financial platform available to everyone, said Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo at an event held in central Seoul on Thursday to announce the company’s 2030 vision.

“The boundary between finance and industry is vanishing,” said Lee Jae-min, a spokesperson for Hana Bank. “We recently sold tickets for soccer match on HANA 1Q. We plan to expand such lifestyle services in the future, like selling movie tickets on the app, and give benefits to the app users by offering connected services with our subsidiaries, like Hana Card.”

Hana Financial Group said it will focus on gaining customer trust, making digital innovations, like artificial intelligence and the metaverse, and strengthen HANA 1Q app by adding more diverse lifestyle services on the app.

Hana Financial Group said it organized digital strategy, data and ICT teams to expand investment on the metaverse and blockchain.

Ham was approved as the chairman of Hana Financial Group in March.
