Celebrating success
Cast members of crime action film “The Roundup,” which hit local theaters on May 18, pose for a picture after the film surpassed 9 million in ticket sales on Monday. It marks the most tickets sold for a film released in Korea this year, as well as since the Covid-19 pandemic started. “The Roundup” is expected to soon surpass the 10 million mark, considered as the milestone of a commercially successful motion picture in Korea.
