Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday unveiled the club's new uniform for the 2022-23 season, announcing that the first time the kit will be worn will be when the men's team takes on Team K-League in Seoul on July 13.

The new kit, made by Nike, features the classic lilywhite shirt design with a modern twist. While the shirt retains the normal plain white design with neon shorts, its accented with a thin neon stripe on the sleeves and neck and at the top of the white socks.

"The Home Kit launch — Dare To Do True — is the first instalment in our Dare To Do series, a five-part campaign which provides a contemporary twist on our iconic motto," the club said in announcement Tuesday. "It celebrates a classic shirt design that brings a sense of authenticity and togetherness amongst our fans. The lilywhite shirt, made from 100 percent recycled polyester, is accentuated by neon volt detail that is visible throughout and complemented by navy blue shorts and white socks.

"The new Home Kit will be worn for the first time by our Men’s First Team when we take on Team K-League in Seoul on July 13 - the opening match of our pre-season tour of South Korea. Details on our Away Kit, Third Kit and Training Range launches will be communicated in due course."

The Tottenham men's squad will fly to Korea in July to play two exhibiton games and hold a series of events for fans, including offering a chance to meet the players and receive some football coaching.

Spurs will first take on Team K-League, a special squad made up of the K League's best players, on July 13 at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo District. The London team will then face La Liga club Sevilla at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, Gyeonggi on July 16.

Sevilla also plans to tour Korea from July 8 to July 17, marking the club's first visit to the country. No other fixtures have been announced, but its possible that other games could be scheduled prior to the Tottenham match.

The Tottenham vs. Sevilla match-up could make for a good game for Korean fans. Both clubs finished fourth in their respective leagues this season, suggesting that they ought to be reasonably well matched.

While Tottenham brings the obvious appeal in the form of Korean national team captain and reigning Premier League Golden Boot recipient Son Heung-min, Sevilla also offers an interesting opportunity: The chance to see midfielder Erik Lamela reconnect with his old friends at Tottenham.
