Nuri launched successfully, reaches target altitude of 700 kilometers

Nuri, Korea's domestically-developed rocket, was launched successfully Tuesday.  
 
It lifted off from the launch pad with a roar at 4 p.m., on time that day after being previously twice delayed, from Naro Space Center in Goheung County, South Jeolla, Tuesday. 
 
The first and second-stage boosters separated successfully, the target altitude of 700 kilometers was reached and the payload separated.
