Actor Moon Geun-young, who is also a film director, will screen three short films at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (Bifan) from July 7 to 17.

According to Bifan’s website, “Abyss” (2021), “Be In My Dream” (2021) and “The Stage” (2021) will be shown in the XL section of Bifan. The XL section screens international short films that are “short yet large enough to embrace the world.”

Moon’s three films range from nine to 15 minutes and will be screened at CGV theaters. The schedule and information for each film can be found on Bifan's website (bifan.kr).

“Abyss” is about “a woman who tries to overcome her limits” but “[in] the moment she thinks she’s free, the moment she thinks she’s overcome the limits, she falls deeper into the abyss.”

“Be In My Dream” centers on “grief” and “a farewell” with a loved one, and features a male dancer.

“The Stage” follows “a woman who keeps finding her way back to the stage again and again” regardless of numerous obstacles.

Moon debuted as a child actor in 1999. She earned the nickname as “the nation’s little sister” for her roles in television dramas like KBS’s “Autumn in My Heart” (2000) and films like “A Tale of Two Sisters” (2003) and “My Little Bride” (2004).
