Le Sserafim's Sakura makes cover of Harper's Bazaar Japan September issue

Girl group Le Sserafim’s Sakura is on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Japan for its September issue, Source Music said Friday.

“Sakura was chosen to be the cover model for the September issue, and her photo shoots will be published on July 20,” Harper’s Bazaar Japan said in a statement.

For this photo shoot, Sakura donned Louis Vuitton’s latest collection.

In an interview with the magazine, Sakura is said to have opened up about what Le Sserafim means to her, according to Source Music.

“I made sure to think that Le Sserafim would be the last K-pop group I would be a part of,” Sakura said.

When asked what she feels is most important in her life — success, talent, luck or working hard — Sakura did not hesitate in saying “to be fearless.”

“I’m not someone who was born with talent, but I do feel like I’m good at working hard,” she said.

Dubbed “HYBE’s first girl group,” Le Sserafim is produced by Source Music, a label under the K-pop powerhouse known for boy band BTS.

The group consists of Sakura, Kim Ga-ram, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. Sakura and Kazuha are Japanese. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are already well-known as former members of girl group IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by the 12 finalists of Mnet’s hit idol audition program “Produce 48” (2018). Huh was also a contestant on "Produce 48."
