Friday's daily Covid cases double compared to week earlier

Daily confirmed cases of Covid-19 doubled Friday compared to the week before.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters, the number of confirmed cases on Friday was 38,882, 261 of which were cases from those entering from overseas. The cumulative number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 stood at 18,680,142.
The number of patients with severe symptoms was 65, while the death toll was 16. The cumulative number of deaths due to Covid-19 is 24,712 as of Friday.
