New daily cases reach 26,299, highest Monday total in 12 weeks

New confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Monday reached 26,299, more than double the number from a week ago.
 
This count is the highest for a Monday in 12 weeks. The accumulative total of confirmed cases is 18,788,056, with the total death toll at 24,753.
