The Korean Air Force's aerobatic flight team flying T-50B jet trainers clinched major awards at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), one of the largest military airshows in the world.

The Black Eagles demonstrated their flight skills on board the advanced supersonic jet trainers jointly developed by Korea Aerospace Industries and Lockheed Martin.

The team took home two prizes — the King Hussein Memorial Sword and As the Crow Flies Trophy — for the best overall flying display at the three-day event held at Fairford, Britain. The event ran through Sunday.

They delivered highly-synchronized displays in the skies to background songs including John Lennon’s Imagine, an aria titled Nessun dorma and a K-pop music by Blackpink.

It is their first appearance at the show in 10 years.
