Kakao Mobility to test its late-night taxi service on Fridays, Saturdays

Kakao Mobility will conduct a test run on its late-night taxi service on Fridays and Saturdays, according to industry sources Thursday.
The service is expected to help resolve the shortage of taxis during late-night hours.
The company is currently recruiting more taxi drivers to work the night shift from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
“We are planning to test the service on a small scale and then decide whether or not to expand the service,” said a spokesperson for Kakao Mobility.
