Lotte Outlet to host special sale from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6

Lotte Outlet will host a special sale event from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6 in time for the winter season, with a total of 430 brands participating, the company announced Thursday.

"Surprice Week," a portmanteau of "surprise" and "price," will leave shoppers pleasantly surprised with the sale prices of products in the event, the company said. The winter season sale event is the second such promotion this year by Lotte Outlet. The first sale event was held in June.

Ahead of October and November, the peak season for outlets thanks to increasing demand for winter fashion items, Lotte Outlet will offer additional discounts of up to 20 percent and additional “L.Point” options for shoppers. L.Point is Lotte’s membership program which allows customers to accumulate points while shopping at Lotte affiliates. The points can be converted into cash to use at various Lotte stores.

Lotte Outlet said that Halloween themed events for customers will also be provided during “Surprice Week.” Halloween decorations will give customers the feeling they're shopping during a Halloween party, while costume parades featuring zombie characters will be held on Oct. 29 and 30.

Lotte Outlet’s sales between Oct. 1 to 20 increased 30 percent compared to the same period last year. This increase was 5 percentage points more than sales increases between January to September.
