An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 occurred 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) northeast of Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang, on Thursday at 3:17 p.m.
The focal depth was 14 kilometers, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
“Areas near the earthquake could have felt it,” the KMA said in a statement. “Please be mindful of safety near the areas of the occurrence.”
