JYP Entertainment said Friday that Nmixx member Jinni will leave the girl group and that her contract has been terminated.

The agency said that Jinni's departure was due to "personal reasons" and did not give any other information.

Nmixx will continue their activities as a six-member group, JYP Entertainment said through a statement.

Nmixx debuted in February this year with the EP “Ad Mare” and lead track “O.O."

"O.O" received mixed reviews due to its eccentric lyrics and song structure, but the EP saw commercial success by selling over 220,000 copies in the first week. At the time, it was a record for a debuting K-pop girl group.
