Girl group Nmixx to release single 'Entwurf' next month

Girl group Nmixx will release its single “Entwurf” on Sept. 19, JYP Entertainment said Monday.

The girl group on the same day also revealed a vibrant neon-colored teaser poster for the upcoming release.

Consisting of seven members — Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin — Nmixx debuted in February with the EP “Ad Mare” and lead track “O.O." Nmixx received public attention as JYP Entertainment's first girl group in three years since ITZY.

Pronounced "n mix," the letter "N" in Nmixx stands for now, new, next and an unknown variable, while “mixx” symbolizes a combination of all the different meanings of “N” to create a new unified result.

"O.O" received mixed reviews due to its eccentric lyrics and song structure, but the EP saw commercial success, selling over 220,000 copies in the first week. At the time it was a record for a debuting K-pop girl group.

“Ad Mare” was also streamed over 100 million times on Spotify.

“Entwurf” will drop on Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. JYP Entertainment added it will make further announcements leading up to the release.
