Temperatures to increase from today but snow to return before Christmas
Korea is set for some brief respite from the frigid weather with temperatures set to increase from today.Temperatures across the nation are expected to reach highs of between 0 degrees and 9 degrees.
However, the cold will return before the end of the year.
Snow or rain is expected nationwide from Wednesday morning, except along the east coast of Gangwon.
From Thursday, temperatures will drop again as a cold front moves south from northern China. It will also bring wind with it.
Chungcheong, the Jeolla provinces, Gwangju and Jeju Island look set for a white Christmas as snow is forecast to fall from Thursday until Saturday.
