Wemade will globally introduce Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond, an online mobile game, on Jan. 31.

Mir M is the latest edition of the Mir massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) franchise and a sequel to the publisher’s iconic title The Legend of Mir 2: Memories of Mir.

Mir M was initially rolled out in Korea last June.

In the global edition, blockchain technology will be added to provide a play-to-earn (P2E) feature, where players can collect items during their gameplay and make money by selling them using the company’s Wemix cryptocurrency.

Currently in Korea, the P2E format is unavailable as it’s illegal to cash in-game items for real money.

The game will be simultaneously released in 170 countries excluding Korea and China and in 12 languages. It will be available both for mobile devices and PCs.
