Korea's Cultural Heritage Administration opened a Tourist Center at Incheon International Airport on Friday and introduced a so-called Passport Tour to encourage visitors to learn more about and visit Korean heritage sites during their stay in Korea.
The Tourist Center at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport includes a Visit Korean Heritage Campaign, introducing 10 different travel courses themed around heritages all around Korea, with 76 different heritages, and an interactive space where visitors can virtually visit different historical sites such as the Buso Fortress in Buyeo, South Chungcheong, and Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, Gyeonggi, and virtually experience traditional activities like Seonyu julbul nori, a Korean traditional firework festival in Andong, North Gyeongsang.
Visitors to the Tourist Center can receive a "visitor passport" and souvenir if they collect up to three stamps through various experiences.
The center features LG Display OLED panels that display the four seasons of Korea through minhwa, or Korean folk painting styles.
