KT’s CEO nominee stepped down from the candidacy, KT announced Monday.
Yun Kyoung-lim, who was named as the final and only candidate for the top post by the KT board committee on March 7, resigned from the candidacy.
The announcement comes after local media outlets reported on March 23 that Yun tendered his resignation.
KT said, “Yun decided that it is most desirable to appoint a new CEO after the governance reform that would exceed expectation of major stakeholders.”
