Wolves, Celtic and Roma are all coming to Korea this summer

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Celtic FC and Roma are all headed to Korea this summer to take part in Korea Tour 2023, a new exhibition series organized by Stadium X and Untouchable Sport Group.

Wolves, home of Korean midfielder Hwang Hee-chan, will play Celtic, home of Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu, on July 26 at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, Gyeonggi.

Wolves will then go on to face Jose Mourinho’s Roma on July 29, with Roma rounding off the tournament with a game against K League 1 side Incheon United on Aug. 1.
It’s going to be a busy summer for football in Korea this year.

Alongside Wolves, Celtic and Roma, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are also visiting this summer as part of the Coupang Play Series, an annual exhibition game series started last year that brought Tottenham Hotspur and Sevilla to the country for its first edition.

City and Atletico will also be in Korea in July, although exact dates have not yet been confirmed. Neither team currently has a Korea player.
