Boy band Teen Top did indeed "rock it drop it top it pop it" on Saturday during its first offline concert in four years.

"How have you all been? We've missed you so much," Ricky shouted out to an excited crowd as they cheered the band's four members onto the stage.

"It's been such a long time since we saw your faces in person," Changjo said. "I feel so happy. I have such a good feeling about today."

The concert, titled "2023 Teen Top we gonna rock it drop it top it hey don't stop it pop it LIVE," taken from the lyrics of its 2013 hit dance track "Rocking," was held at the Nodeul Island Live House on the Han River. A second performance will be held again tonight, Sunday, at the same venue.

The concert was held as both a celebration of the band's 13th anniversary since their debut, on July 10, and their latest album "4SHO," released earlier this month.

Known for its playful and upbeat songs, Teen Top had been on an unofficial break since 2020 due to its members' military duties. But its name started popping up again after entertainer Yu Jae-seok covered the band's song "To You" (2012) on an MBC entertainment show earlier this year.

The band debuted in 2010 and gained popularity in the early to mid-2010s until L.Joe quit in 2017. A second member, C.A.P, also quit last May, leaving members Niel, Chunji, Changjo and Ricky.

Saturday's performance included all the best from its discography, including the lead track of its latest album, "Hweek," along with its best songs from the past such as "To You," "Crazy" (2012), "Miss Right" (2013) and "Rocking" (2013).

The concert had a hiccup in the middle and had to take a short break due to technical glitches with the microphones, but the members took the chance to make a playful moment showing off their performance skills.

"This just proves that we're not lip-syncing and that this is all live," Ricky said.

A total of 25 songs were performed Saturday, filling two hours of music and talk with the audience. Sunday's performance will be livestreamed through online video platform hellolive.

"We're sad that we only got a week to promote our album on television music shows this time," Changjo said. "But we had such a great time being reminded of how it feels in the waiting rooms and the good times we've had. We'll come back with better albums in the future, so that's something to look forward to."
