Up10tion's Lee Dong-yeol signs with PA Entertainment

Singer and actor Lee Dong-yeol from boy band Up10tion, also known by his former stage name Xiao, signed with PA Entertainment, the agency said Thursday.

PA Entertainment is also home to Lee Hwan-hee, also from Up10tion.

“We signed an exclusive contract with Lee Dong-yeol as we trusted in his unlimited possibilities. We will restlessly support Lee Dong-yeol, who will widen his fields, both as a singer and an actor,” PA Entertainment said Thursday.

“Lee Dong-yeol will change his stage name from Xiao to Lee Dong-yeol and focus on his solo activists this year, starting with an Asian fan concert tour in September, visiting Taiwan, Japan and Indonesia,” the agency added.

Lee Dong-yeol debuted as a member of boy band Up10tion in 2015 under TOP Media. He, alongside fellow member Lee Hwan-hee, joined cable network Mnet’s idol audition program, “Boys Planet” this year but failed to make it to the final round on the show. Lee Dong-yeol has also been cast as one of the main characters of an upcoming musical, according to the agency.

PA Entertainment is home to many singers and actors, including singers Bae Ki-seong, Jungmo, Park Si-hwan and actors Lee Byeong-jin and Seo Shin-ae.
