A 20-year-old woman was in critical condition after being hit by a car in the combined vehicle-ramming attack and stabbing near Seohyeon Station in Bundang, Gyeonggi, earlier this month has died.

Kim Hye-bin succumbed to her injuries Monday, according to her family.

Her death came 25 days after 22-year-old Choi Won-jong drove his compact car onto a sidewalk, hitting several people, before entering a mall and stabbing people inside.

Kim is the second death resulting from Choi's attack. A woman in her 60s died earlier from injuries sustained when she was hit by Choi's car.

Over a dozen people were injured in the attack.

On Tuesday, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office indicted Choi with murder and attempted murder.

Choi is believed to suffer from bipolar disorder.

While being taken to the prosecutors' office for questioning on Oct. 10, Choi claimed to be a victim of stalking for several years.

"I committed the crime as I could no longer tolerate being stalked," Choi said.
