Korea secured its third medal in shooting at the 19th Asian Games with a silver medal finish in the men’s 25 meter rapid fire pistol team contest in Hangzhou, China on Monday.

The three-person team of Song Jong-ho, Lee Gun-hyeok and Kim Seo-jun scored a total 1,734 points, coming behind China, with 1,765 points, but ahead of India, with 1,718 points.

Kim, who at the time went by the name Kim Jung-ho, also won gold in the individual contest, along with two silver medals in the 25 meter standard pistol men’s individual and team events in 2014. He then went on to win bronze in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol at the 2018 Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.

None of the three men qualified for the gold medal round in the individual event.
