Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport that generally takes place on specifically designed tracks. It has two categories: Sprint races and endurance races.

Sprint races take place with around three to eight laps and riders compete with raw sprinting power and race tactics.

Endurance races, on the other hand, are held over longer distances and the races focus more on the riders’ tactics as well as speed.

Malaysia took bronze in the final.

Korea has secured over 110 medals from Asian Games cycling events. Japan is the winningest country with over 140 medals.
