Two police officers injured in knife attack in front of presidential office

Two police officers were injured in a knife attack by a 77 year-old man only identifed as Park in front of the Yongsan Presidential Office on Tuesday.  
 
The assailant started wielding a knife he was carrying in a bag at 1:20 p.m. 
 
He started the attack when he was asked to move along by the police after shouting in front of the entrance. 
 
In the process of subduing the assailant, two police officers sustained injuries. Both were taken to the hospital.    
 
One of the officers sustained a stab wound to the abdomen, while another inflicted an injury to the left arm.

 
The man was arrested and is currently being questioned as to his motive.
