BabyMonster will make its debut on Nov. 27, the girl group's agency YG Entertainment said Friday.

BabyMonster, consisting of seven members, Ahyeon, Ruka, Chiquita, Haram, Pharita, Rora and Asa, is YG Entertainment's much anticipated next-generation girl group.

"We didn't spare any effort and resources to repay the fans who have been waiting [for BabyMonster's debut]," YG Entertainment said in a press release Friday. "We will now spur to work on the post-production works in order to show the best we can. I hope you look forward to the upcoming promotions that will be unveiled one by one."

The agency also added that BabyMonster had already completed its five-day-long music video filming sessions and teased that the music video "will show each member's individuality while also fully unfolding the team's identity."

BabyMonster's debut lead track will be a "powerful" hip-hop score, YG Entertainment said.

The girl group's debut was originally slated for September but has been delayed to November "to be extra cautious in choosing the lead track," according to YG Entertainment.

Being YG Entertainment's first girl group in seven years, following the debut of Blackpink in 2016, BabyMonster has been garnering worldwide anticipation since the seven members of the group were announced starting January this year.

BabyMonster's predebut track "Dream" has already surpassed 53 million views in under six months on YouTube and the group's YouTube channel has more than 3.15 million subscribers as of Friday.
