LG Arts Center offers 29% discount to celebrate LG Twins' Korean Series title
All tickets for the play "La Machine De Turing" and the concert "Club ARC with Antenna" will be sold at discounted prices during the three days, the arts center said Friday.
"La Machine De Turing" is a two-man play based on the story of Alan Turing, an English mathematician and computer scientist. The play was performed overseas, including in France, before being introduced in Korea and won awards in four categories at the 2019 Molières Awards.
Actor Ko Sang-ho will play Turing, and Lee Seung-joo will play Mickael Ross and other characters. The play, directed by Shin Yoo-chung, will be performed until Nov. 25.
"Club ARC with Antenna" will be a combination of exhibitions, a bar with drinks and concerts, according to the arts center.
The art center has also rolled out a new candle product named "136," co-developed with LG's lifestyle subsidiary LG Household & Health Care. The candle has a woody and citrusy scent.
The candle can be purchased at the art center's cafe, TYPE.
The center was relocated to Gangseo District, western Seoul, from its previous location in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, and reopned in October 2022.
The center garnered attention for its architecture as it is one of the two concert halls designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The other concert hall designed by Ando is located in Shanghai, China.
