C9 Entertainment to hold global audition to find boy band trainees

C9 Entertainment, home to boy bands CIX and EPEX, will hold a global audition to find new boy band trainees.

The audition, titled the C9 Global Audition, will begin in Taiwan and take place in various cities worldwide until May next year, the agency said Friday.

The audition is open to those born between 2003 and 2012 and is open to singers, dancers, rappers and actors. The audition will also conduct online auditions.

C9 Entertainment, established in 2014, manages a number of artists, including singer Younha, Lee Seok-hoon, boy bands CIX, EPEX and girl group cignature.

CIX is a five-member boy band that debuted in 2019. The band consists of members BX, Seunghun, Bae Jin-young, Yonghee and Hyunsuk.

The band EPEX debuted in 2021 and has eight members: Wish, Keum, Mu, A-Min, Baekseung, Ayden, Yewang and Jeff.
