Sinkholes in Gwacheon damage at least 30 cars

The Gwacheon Police Precinct [Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency]
Around six sinkholes appeared on a three-way intersection in Galhyeon-dong in Gwacheon around Thursday 4:20 p.m.
Each hole was about a meter wide (3.2 feet) and around 20 (7.8 inches) to 30 centimeters deep.
The police received around 30 reports of tire damage from drivers because of the sinkholes.
The Gwacheon city government and the police have been controlling traffic at the site as repairs are underway.
The authorities will look into why sinkholes appeared suddenly.
