CLASS:y to promote Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon as honorary ambassador

Girl group CLASS:y has been named the ambassador for the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024. [M25]

CLASS:y has been named the ambassador for the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, the girl group's agency M25 said Friday.

Gangwon will host the games this year from Jan. 19 to Feb. 1. This will be the first time for the games to be held in Asia.

CLASS:y will work on promoting the event, according to its agency.

CLASS:y is a seven-member band that debuted in May 2022 under entertainment company M25. It consists of the seven finalists of MBC's idol audition program "My Teenage Girls" (2021-22) — Won Ji-min, Kim Seon-you, Myung Hyeong-seo, Hong Hye-ju, Kim Ri-won, Park Bo-eun and Yoon Chae-won.

The group recently released its first winter season song, "Winter Bloom," on Wednesday, in which member Yoon Chae-won participated in writing the lyrics.
