The torch was first carried by Greek cross-country skier and biathlete Maria Belli and then passed to Korean figure skater Kim Hyun-gyeom, Greek alpine skier Apostolos Vougioukas and Korean moguls skier Yun Shin-ee before being transferred to a safety lamp and given to Gangwon 2024 Organising Committee Co-president Jin Jong-oh to bring back to Korea.
