NewJeans's second EP "Get Up" sold over 2 million copies since its release in July, becoming the fastest K-pop girl group to hit the double million threshold.

The EP passed the 2 million mark as of December, according to sales tracker Circle Chart.

"Get Up" sold over 1.65 million copies in the first week after its release, marking the second-highest girl group first-week album sales in Korea.

"NewJeans is the only girl group to sell over 5 million accumulated copies with just three albums within a year and five months since its debut," ADOR said in a press release.

Its debut EP, "New Jeans," has sold over 1.52 million copies, while its single, "OMG," has sold over 1.64 million copies.

Four of its tracks — "Ditto" (2022), "Hype Boy" (2022), "OMG" (2023) and "Attention" (2022) — were among the top 10 songs that were streamed the most on Melon, Korea's largest music streaming service, last year.

The girl group also landed four songs on the top 10 of Melon's year-end chart: "Ditto" at No. 1, "Hype boy" at No. 2, "OMG" at No. 4 and "Attention" at No. 8.

The group wrapped up 2023 with trophies at major music awards, including the 2023 MAMA Awards, the Melon Music Awards 2023, and the 38th Golden Disc Awards.

It recently won Artist of the Year awards in global streaming, unique listener and digital and Music Steady Seller of the Year at the Circle Chart Music Awards 2023 on Wednesday.

NewJeans debuted in July 2022 under agency ADOR, a music label under HYBE, and has been one of the biggest names in K-pop ever since its debut.
