BTS's V and "Concrete Utopia" (2023) director Um Tae-hwa took part in singer-songwriter IU's upcoming prerelease single "Love wins," her agency EDAM Entertainment said Tuesday.

V is featured on the main poster of "Love wins," which was revealed on Tuesday on IU's social media, hinting at his appearance on IU's new music video.

Um directed the music video for the song, according to IU's agency.

The prerelease single "Love wins" is set to drop on Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. The song is the singer's first original music in over two years since her last EP "Pieces" was released in December 2021.

IU debuted in 2008 and has become one of Korea's most renowned solo artists. She released hit songs such as "Good Day" (2010), "YOU&I" (2011), "The Red Shoes" (2013), "Through the Night" (2017), "Lilac" (2021) and many more.

She is also well known for her acting career, which she began in 2011 with the KBS drama series "Dream High." She then starred in various dramas and films, including her latest film, "Dream" (2023).

She recently donated 210 million won ($158,000) to mark the new year, to help underprivileged households get heating for the winter.
