Seoul's midday high reached 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 degrees Fahrenheit) on Tuesday, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
The KMA officially announced on Monday the arrival of cherry blossoms in Seoul, following the warm weather.
An official bloom is declared when three or more flowers are spotted on a branch of a tree planted near the Seoul Meteorological Observatory in Jongno District, central Seoul.
