'Dogs Are Wonderful' episode canceled in light of Kang Hyung-wook controversy

This week's episode of KBS2 entertainment program "Dogs Are Wonderful” was canceled after dog training expert Kang Hyung-wook, host of the show, was accused of allegedly abusing employees in his business, Bodeum Company.
 
Kang has been embroiled in controversy as negative reviews on job search platforms and comments on Kang's YouTube videos went viral, detailing how he was allegedly an abusive employer.
 
The reviews and comments included accusations of mental abuse, invasion of privacy, toxic working conditions and more. One review stated that they have been attending therapy since quitting the job.
 
Kang has not yet addressed the allegations.

"In consideration of the controversy over Kang, we decided to cancel this week's episode of ‘Dogs Are Wonderful’ and substitute it with another program," said KBS on Monday.
 
At 8:55 p.m. on Monday, reruns of "Walk Expedition” and "Paldo Table” (translated) were broadcast instead of the regularly scheduled "Dogs Are Wonderful.”
 
It has not yet been decided whether the broadcast of "Dog Are Wonderful" will continue or be canceled next week as well.

The event was organized by Bodeum Company and while Kang will not make an appearance, the event itself will still be held. 
 
Kang gained popularity after appearing on the dog training entertainment program “There is No Bad Dog in the World” which began airing in 2015 on EBS.
