The council said that the music video for Riize's “Get a Guitar” (2023) had promoted the city to the world by featuring attractions such as the 6th Street Bridge and the Los Angeles Theatre.

Los Angeles City Councilmember John Lee, who is Korean American, made the original motion to award the certificate.

“This song is a love letter to the city of Los Angeles and showcases some of our greatest landmarks, both historic and contemporary,” said Lee. He added that the endeavor had “created a perfect partnership” between Riize and the city.

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board also used “Get a Guitar” as background music in a promotional video for its tourism campaign “Now Playing.”

“Los Angeles holds a very special place in our hearts, so it’s a privilege for us to be selected by the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board for the ‘Now Playing’ ad campaign,” said Riize member Anton. “These moments have forged a lasting connection with this vibrant city and our testament to the creativity that defines it.”
