The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) announced Wednesday it opened resume submissions and interview applications for the annual Job Fair for International Students.

The Job Fair for International Students, a subsection of Kotra's Global Talent Fair, will be held on Aug. 27 and 28 at COEX in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. The Global Talent Fair also includes the Job Fair for Foreign Invested Companies and the Job Fair for Overseas Employment, all held simultaneously.

At the Job Fair for International Students, around 100 companies aiming to hire foreign nationals such as Kia, Amorepacific and Samyang Roundsquare will be setting up booths.

Job seekers can go to the international student section of the Global Talent Fair's website to check visiting companies and positions that will be up for interviews.

To schedule interviews, applicants need to upload their resumes for the desired position. Applications are due by Aug. 5, but Kotra advises job seekers to upload resumes early as interview slots tend to fill up fast.

Apart from on-site job interviews, companies will also hold recruitment information sessions at the fair. Resume consultations and mock interview sessions will also be held.

To promote the event, Kotra will be working with 20 university students that are part of its Global Talent Supporters program to create content about the hiring companies and the job fair.
