Composer and producer Kim Hyung-suk's Korean education song, "Ganada Song," will be released on 200 platforms in over 180 countries.

"I incorporated a Beatles-style vibe onto the roots of K-pop so that people around the world can enjoy it together," said Kim. "I will not copyright the song so it can be used for Korean language education anywhere in the world."

The song will be first performed at Oxford University on Thursday, where Kim is also delivering a special lecture about the history and future of K-pop.

The song is titled after the pronunciations of the first three letters of the Korean alphabet.

"The excellence of language education through songs has been academically proven," said Professor Jieun Kiaer, whose Korean name is Cho Ji-eun, of Oxford's Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. "'Ganada Song' will greatly aid Korean language education."

Professor Kiaer penned the lyrics and rookie singer Warmbo provided the vocals for the song.

The lyrics, mostly in Korean with some English, contain positive messages about singing along to the song with an open mind. The song was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, famous for being the studio of the legendary British band The Beatles.

Kim debuted as a composer in 1989 and has since worked with numerous artists, including Lee Moon-sae, Im Jae-bum, Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Gun-mo and Jo Sung-mo, creating countless hit songs. He is also well-known for composing the themes for the film “My Sassy Girl” (2001) and the SBS drama “All In” (2003).
