KT will integrate discounts in transportation and currency exchange as well as at duty free shops with its prepaid SIM card plans, the major telecom company said on Monday.

Titled the "Korea Tour Pack," the package will be provided via text message to any foreign tourists who purchase an eSIM or physical SIM card from KT.

Tourists who bought prepaid plans for five days or more will be offered physical T-money transportation cards at no extra cost.

The package includes a 1,500 won ($1.08) discount on the airport rail line, AREX, dropping the one-way fare from 11,000 won to 9,500 won, alongside a 2,000 won discount on airport limousine bus rides. Tourists exchanging money at Woori Bank’s Incheon Airport branch will also be offered a 50 percent discount on the commission rate.

The Korea Tour Pack will also offer gold membership at Shilla Duty Free with additional coupons.

KT’s prepaid plans are divided into data-only and all-in-one plans that support calls, messages and data. Its “unlimited” data-only plan, which provides 3GB of data at full speed and limitless data at 5Mbps speed, costs 6,600 won and a five-day plan costs 27,500 won, with the 3GB threshold reset daily. Additional discounts will be offered when purchased on KT’s official website.
