Korea's Lee Do-hyun failed to qualify for the men's boulder and lead final at the Paris Olympics Wednesday, ending his shot for his first Olympic medal.

It wasn't enough to earn him a spot in the final, with his 10th-place finish in boulder Monday placing him in danger of getting cut.
 
The top eight highest-scoring climbers after the lead round Wednesday, the second stage of the competition, secured a spot in Friday's final. Japan's Sorato Anraku scored 137 points across the two semifinals for the top spot heading into the medal rounds.
 
It marks the end of Lee's Olympic debut. The 21-year-old qualified for the Games after winning the men's boulder and lead competition at the Olympic Qualifier Series.
 
Korea's Shin Eun-cheol was knocked out of men's speed climbing after losing his elimination round heat Tuesday.
 
As of press time, Seo Chae-hyun is the only remaining Korean climber at the Paris Olympics and is set to compete in the women's lead semifinal Thursday.
