FHC Pharmaceutical Co. to Invest 200 Million Dollars in Korea

The American pharmaceutical company, FHC, will invest 200 million dollars toward Korea. To do so, the company is now searching for a Korean pharmaceutical company to acquire.
According to the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Association (KOTRA) on November 5, FHC has been searching for potential companies to invest in since June.
Steven Norbak, president of FHC, has been asking the help of the KOTRA and in September discussed ways to invest with Lim Chang Yeol, the governor of Kyunggi Province.
A source at KOTRA said, ' President Norbak will come to Korea during November at the earliest. He judges that it is not possible to postpone investment toward Korea any longer, as the Korean stock market is recovering rapidly.'
