Korean Software Popular among U.S. Financial Institutions

Korean-made software is gaining in popularity among U.S. financial institutions. One standout product, the HYCASE/CASD by Hyunyoung Systems, a 'software-making' software, is being used to develop financial systems for Hana Financial, an American-based company.
The software can design computer programs for complex financial tasks while reducing costs and lowering manpower. It was awarded the President's Prize at the 'Information & Communications Software Exhibition' sponsored by the Software Exposition Committee of Information & Communication Ministry.
A source at Hyungyoung Systems said, 'We will expand in foreign markets on the basis of this success.' The system integration company has worked on more than 160 projects since its establishment in 1979.
