2 cell phone services want sanctions on SK
KTF Corp. and LG TeleCom Co. asked the Ministry of Information and Communication yesterday to suspend SK Telecom Co.’s operations for nine months.They charged that SK Telecom had violated government conditions for its merger with Shinsegi Telecomm Co. by giving illegal subsidies to its subscribers.
They also asked the ministry to limit SK Telecom’s market share to below 50 percent in a bid to improve their competitiveness.
