Caffe Bene expands further with new locations in Malaysia

Caffe Bene, a Korean coffee brand, opened two stores in Malaysia yesterday as part of its initiative to expand overseas. The coffee franchise launched its third and fourth Malaysian branches in Petaling Jaya and Penang. It opened another two in Kuala Lumpur and Mont Kiara, an affluent township northwest of Kuala Lumpur’s city center, earlier this year. Caffe Bene said it will serve side dishes tailored to the taste of Malaysians as well as coffee.

Caffe Bene signed a master franchise contract with Malaysia’s BT Capital last year in order to make inroads into Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore. It plans to open a total of eight overseas stores this year. Currently, Caffe Bene operates more than 50 overseas coffee shop locations, including China, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines.
