KBO clubs adjust their spring training schedulesAfter canceling all exhibition games for the first time in the league’s history, the 10 KBO clubs have settled on different solutions for their spring training schedule.
As of today, the KBO has not made any announcement regarding the postponement of the regular season, which is scheduled to begin on March 28.
Despite a potential delay to the start of the season, the Dinos, who left to Tucson, Arizona, for their spring training on Feb. 1, will still be arriving back at Incheon International Airport on March 8.
The Dinos said on Wednesday that they will continue their training in Changwon, South Gyeongsang, starting from March 10.
The Hanwha Eagles, on the other hand, will be making their return earlier than expected due to flight issues. The Eagles are currently in Mesa, Arizona, and were expected to stay until March 11. However, as their flight back to Korea got canceled, they will arrive home a day earlier.
The Kiwoom Heroes won’t be making any changes to their spring training schedule. They are currently in Taiwan and set to return on March 10.
Four clubs - Kia Tigers, Lotte Giants, Samsung Lions and LG Twins - extended their spring training.
