Choi Soo-yeon won the women's individual sabre gold medal at the 2022 Seoul Asian Fencing Championships on Sunday, where Korea swept the men's sabre podium on Friday with Gu Bon-gil winning gold, Kim Jung-hwan silver and Oh Sang-uk bronze.

Choi In-jeong won the senior women's épée gold medal at the Cairo Epee Grand Prix after beating silver medalist Auriane Mallo of France 15-14 in the finals while countrywoman Song Sera won the bronze medal after Choi beat Song in the semifinals.
