This year’s KCON LA will get a primetime broadcast on U.S. commercial broadcaster The CW Network, becoming the first K-pop festival to earn a spot in the coveted time slot, according to the festival’s organizer CJ ENM.
Germany will be holding its first-ever KCON, a K-pop music festival hosted by CJ ENM, this year at Messe Frankfurt on Sept. 28 and 29.
CJ ENM announced the dates, locations and artist lineup for KCON LA 2024 on Friday.
The upcoming album will be ZeroBaseOne’s first release in Korea in six months after the band released its second EP, “Melting Point,” in November last year.
The festival will take place on March 30 and March 31 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, marking KCON's first stop at the Hong Kong arena.
CJ ENM's largest K-culture festival, KCON 2024, will open in five overseas places this year, starting from Hong Kong, followed by Japan, Los Angeles, Europe and Saudi Arabia.
Concertgoers to this month's KCON Saudi Arabia will be able to experience Korean food, fashion and beauty products in addition to exciting K-pop performances.
KCON will be held in Saudi Arabia on Oct. 6 and 7, its organizer CJ ENM said Friday. It will be the second time the KCON festival will take place in Saudi Arabia, following KCON Saudi Arabia 2022 last year.
KCON LA 2023, which took place in Los Angeles from Friday to Sunday, saw the largest number of participants in KCON history with 140,000 offline visitors, its organizer CJ ENM said. The number is 50,000 more than last year's.
